FAQ's

Browse through frequently asked questions about our safari game drives

Our game drives take place on our 6200-hectare reserve around the lodge area. The area is approximately 10km long & 6km wide and is surrounded by multiple mountain ranges.

We recommend to take along sunglasses, a jacket, sunscreen and binoculars. It’s also advised to wear clothing with natural colours and refrain from wearing clothing with bright or flashy colours.

Our game drives are done in the early morning hours or during the late afternoon to avoid driving when it’s too hot. Rainy weather will cancel or postpone the safari drive. It’s also to be noted that after a rainy day there is often less wildlife sightings.

Predators including cheetah and leopard are a rare sighting and not guaranteed. Leopards especially are mostly active at night therefore leopard sightings are more rare during the day. No matter where you go in Namibia, coming across leopards and cheetahs in the wild is a rare and exclusive experience.

We have 2 open safari vehicles that are used for the drive. Depending on the number of bookings either a 9-seater or a 15-seater is used. Please note that the vehicles don’t have a roof for a real safari experience, so kindly bring along sunscreen and a hat.

Yes, it’s possible for children from 6 years to participate in the safari drives. Please note that it’s crucial that the children remain quiet and calm at all times to respect the privacy of other guests and avoid to scare wildlife.
