Your road to Gabus Safari Lodge
Gabus Safari Lodge is located on the D3031 gravel road, approximately 11km from Otavi, Namibia. No 4×4 is needed and even sedan cars can comfortably reach the lodge as the gravel road is in a very good condition.

A perfect stopover for your Namibia trip
Gabus Safari Lodge sits just off the B1, the main route between Windhoek and Namibia’s north. That makes us an ideal overnight stop for travellers heading to Etosha National Park, Grootfontein, Rundu, the Kavango region, Divundu and the Caprivi area.
Centrally located about halfway along the Windhoek to Divundu route, so the long journey north is broken into days with a comfortable driving distance.
Roughly 4 to 5 hours’ drive from Windhoek (about 430 km). Sleep here, then reach Etosha’s Von Lindequist Gate in around 2 hours the next morning.
A relaxed last night before the drive back to the capital or Hosea Kutako International Airport. Only about 11 km from Otavi on a well-maintained gravel road. No 4x4 is needed and sedan cars manage comfortably.
