It’s an exciting experience to ride out into nature on horseback and experience close wildlife encounters on the savannah-bushlands that are surrounded by the Uiseb mountain ranges. Our nature is home to animals including Giraffe, Hartman’s Zebra, Eland, Oryx, Kudu, Impala, Warthog and many other animals.
Our horses are trained in the English riding style where they are prepared inside with experienced riders ensure they are in shape. To make our rides more enjoyable for the outside we use trail saddles to enjoy the outrides for both rider and the horse backs. The horses are well adapted to the surroundings, wildlife and weather conditions.

Morning ride
Ride out after sunrise and experience the savannah-bushlands in the stunning morning light which is optimal for photography.

A beginners horse riding session for 45-minutes where the horse is guided offering a safe and comfortable experience.

Bush breakfast
Bush Breakfast is a unique experience whereby a morning ride is followed by a breakfast buffet in the middle of the bush providing a real African experience that you won’t forget.
This experience can also be arranged with other activities including safari drives or hiking whereby guests who are not riding horses can still participate in the experience.

Important information
The following rules apply for the well-being of our horses and safety of riders.
Horses are not resources. They are working animals that need care, patience, challenges and recovery time to offer a great riding experience to our guests. Therefore we take strict precautions to preserve their well-being and the safety of riders.
Availability
Our horses need adequate recovery time and this activity may at times not be available due to farrier & dentist visits.
Riding experience
Beginners and experienced riders are grouped into separate rides and the pace will be adjusted according to riding levels.
Weight limit
We can only accommodate riders with a maximum weight of 85 kilograms (187 pounds). Right of Admission is reserved.
Our horses live a happy life
Our horses live a happy life on 62 square kilometers where they can roam freely and have a good quality of life. Depending on the riding schedule, the horses may be moved to a smaller camp where it’s easier to find them to ensure that the activity goes according to schedule.
We take great pride in implementing a carefully designed training schedule that keeps our horses in a good shape while ensuring they have sufficient time for rest and recovery. Our horses are given their daily feed along with the necessary supplements tailored to their requirements.
Regular visits from skilled professionals such as farriers and dentists make sure that our horses are in good health, who attend to their hooves and teeth every 8 weeks on average.

Are you a reliable workhorse who thrives on early mornings, handles a bit of mud, and loves a full day’s hustle? We need passionate volunteers to dive into daily horse care, training, stable management, and guest safari rides!
Horse Management: Feeding, stable routines, grooming, and health care.
Training & Prep: Groundwork, lunging, and tacking up safari horses.
Reserve Life: Keeping equipment spotless and joining guest rides when available.
