5. Namibia Craft Centre
A huge collection of handcrafted souveniers

The Namibia Craft Centre provides a platform for local handicrafts from jewelry to carved tree roots. More than 35 local craft enterprises from distinct communities are selling their handcrafted souvenirs in the centre offering a huge choice for visitors.

Namibia Craft Centre is located in the CBD of Windhoek, right next to the popular Warehouse Theatre (now known as Brewers Market) and is conveniently accessible.

There’s also a Cafe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, cake or a small meal after you’re done shopping for the souveniers.

4. Green Market
Buy local and lekker!

The Green Market in Windhoek takes place only on Saturdays from 07:30 AM to 12:15 PM in the Dr. David Kenneth Kaunda Street in the Klein Windhoek Suburb.

Visitors have access to more than 30 stands that sell fresh produce, meat, baked goods and handmade items – almost everything is produced in Namibia.

Popular local businesses including Aqua Grow Namibia and Krumhuk Farm have a stand at the market and sell their delicious products.

3. Christuskirche
Historical German architecture

In the center of Windhoek lies the Christuskirche (Christ Church) which is a historic attraction that was constructed between 1907 and 1910. The German architecture of the building makes it a popular sightseeing destination for tourists.

Visitors can view the interior of the church by collecting the keys at the church office nearby during business hours or scheduling a tour with a local company.

2. Avani Stratos Restaurant And Bar
A stunning bird eye's view over the city

Avani’s Stratos Restaurant And Bar is situated on top of the Avani Hotel in Windhoek’s CBD.
